The students will have an option of enrolling in the lecture and the lab or the lecture only ( 2 versus 1 credit hours). The format is open discussion and review of basic principles of toxicosis, diagnosis, and therapy of the various classes of toxicants. The only test is a take-home one which consists of simulated clinical cases where the student is asked questions concerning the appropriate diagnosis and therapy. "Team" effort on the test is encouraged.
